The Department for Education (DfE) has published a policy paper on the support measures available to students who had planned to start higher education in 2020 but have had to defer until 2021 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The paper provides details on a range of opportunities to gain new skills, undertake work placements, additional learning and career development support.
The policy paper covers the government support available, opportunities in the voluntary sector, private sector opportunities and support from the higher education sector.
